A taste. is proud to announce we are teaming up with Alex Shepherd and Startisans, part of the team behind Partridges & Shepherd's Markets to bring you 'tasting room'. A semi-permanent restaurant serving up a new twist to traditional British cooking, delicious food based around different themes that give the evening a fun, quirky feel.
Startisans is an indoor food market on Shelton Street in Covent Garden that showcases artisan food producers and street food stalls.
We will be hosting a number of pop-up restaraunts in the evenings showcasing the great produce the market has to offer. We both believe that eating should be a shared experience, so our
‘tasting room’ will have a relaxed atmosphere with food being served at large, communal tables.
On Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February, Startisans will be giving diners the chance to enjoy a themed evening of fresh, seasonal food at its first-ever pop-up restaurant. The restaurant, called ‘tasting room’ will be celebrating something quintessentially British: tea. Apart from the obvious tea-smoked dishes, you can expect to find a clever but subtle use of the essential ingredient, bringing an element of fun and surprise to the evening.
Expect Chai braised pork belly & "Earl's 50 Shade's of Grey" for dessert.
